Törökbálint is located in the district of Pest in the area of the development axis of the country, at the intersection of the country's development axes, based on a well-established spatial development structure in the Central-Hungarian planning-statistical region, in the immediate vicinity of the Budapest development pole. The administrative area is 29 km².
The population of the city is 14,000, it is estimated that the population is about 2025. Will be 16,300. Within the population, the ratio of higher education graduates exceeded the average of the county cities (17.13%) according to the 2011 census, as this indicator was Törökbálinton 22.55%.
Törökbálint's geographical location is basically determined by the fact that the city belongs to the agglomeration of Budapest. The close proximity to the capital (Western Kapu) and the accessibility of the motorways (M1, M7, M0) can make a significant contribution to the city's capital attractiveness, as an important factor for a Western European investor is the time of its Hungarian subsidiary, Can be approached.
As far as the KAPU is concerned, we also hope that Törökbálint will have a significant role as the city has the M0 and M7 motorways and the M0 motorway, with all the motorways of Hungary accessible by direct road connection. From the point of view of transport, Törökbálint is the national KAPU for all Europe!
On the basis of a comprehensive study of Törökbálint's economic, social, environmental and other factors, we can conclude that the role of the agglomeration trade-logistics center with Budaörs will continue to determine the development of the settlement in the future.
In Hungary, currently only Törökbálint is a small town where three major transport roads, highways and an international railway line intersect. There is also a railway stop, but it needs to be moved so that it can be developed as an intermodal railway station. From the foregoing, the strengthening of the logistic function can be one of the possible ways of sustainable development in the city.
The next factor for the future is the "knowledge production" function. Törökbálint's educational structure is still in a prominent position, focusing primarily on the other interpretation of knowledge production, the development of a knowledge-based economy and society. This concerns, on the one hand, the development of the city's innovation capability. Törökbálint has already carried out pioneering activities in several fields (application of e-government system, development of environmental democracy, municipal tendering system, city partnership framework agreements, settlement marketing, etc.). On the other hand, support for investments and businesses that contribute to the local development of the knowledge-based economy.
